Tracking Black Rhino



















Desert-adapted black rhino are tracked, not driven to. You follow spoor, you walk, and for a long time the only thing you see is a pair of ears over a grass ridge.
The sequence is left long on purpose. This is what the morning actually looked like — the same two animals, from further and then nearer, mostly grey on grey, until the light was too hard to go on.
